Corporate Social Responsiblity

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is an important part of our culture and good citizenship is integral to the way we do business.

The 3Cs is the Certeco Charity Challenge, an on-going charity fundraising initiative. Certeco encourages company-wide participation in charitable activity, not just for the chosen charities but any charity people want to support. These have included the NSPCC, Sumatran Orangutan Society and MAG Mines Advisory Group.

The challenge year runs from 1st July to 30th June. At the Connect update meetings held in August/September the company recognises individual /team and company fundraising achievements. For all money raised by staff, Certeco pledges to contribute a top up on the total amount raised for charity. The charities staff voted to support until 2017 are the Alzheimer’s Society, MIND and the MS (Multiple Sclerosis) Society.

Alzheimer’s Society is a membership organisation, which works to improve the quality of life of people affected by dementia in the UK.

Mind provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. Mind campaigns to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.

The MS Society funds research, gives grants, campaigns for change, provides information and support, invests in MS specialists and lends a listening ear to those who need it.
