– Private equity firm Lonsdale’s “buy and build” strategy for consultancy sector – London, Thursday 28 September 2017: P2 Consulting, the leading project and programme management consultancy and Certeco, one of the UK’s largest independent business change consultancies, have today announced they have signed an agreement to merge the two companies. The deal is backed by Lonsdale Capital Partners, the private equity firm focused on the lower mid-market, which funded a management buy out of P2 in December 2016. The Certeco transaction follows P2’s recent acquisition of FS101, a financial crime consulting firm, and international expansion, and is part of a wider “buy and build” strategy to create a consulting services firm that will challenge the market dominance of established “Top Tier” consultancies. Certeco extends Scottish footprint with strategic partnership

October 2015, London: Certeco, a leading business technology change consultancy has today announced the hire of testing and quality assurance (QA) industry expert, Jane Such, to head its thriving assurance practice. Prior to Certeco, Jane led CSC’s regional testing centre of excellence, where she was responsible for the post merger functional integration of two test consultancies consisting of over 250 consultants. Through the integration she created and implemented a “one company culture,” in addition to a uniform test delivery methodology and QA organisation. Jane had delivery responsibility for nearly 40 clients, consisting of single engagement, large offshore delivery teams and large-scale government deliveries.
